WinXP password expiration

In winxp, i don't want to add password to my account, so I remove it. I don't need any security coz for my computer, only me use it. But about 20 or 30 days, I am not sure, winxp force to change passwd(which is blank) before expire. How could I change that expiration to unlimited??? I don't see any option in users and accounts at control panel.

Should be in your users setup. (have to be logged in as Admin). You should be able to tell it that you never want to reset your password.

Maximum Password Age

Determines the period of time (in days) that a password can be used before the system requires the user to change it. You can set passwords to expire after a number of days between 1 and 999, or you can specify that passwords never expire by setting the number of days to 0.

Yes, it is indeed hard to get people to read help files. Things are never easy unless your RTFI.

I see that as a contradiction... just the fact that the first step is called 'start' and you can walk through a heirarchy with relavant names is, to me, making something as simple as you can in that case... and the fact that they explain exactly what it does and give you the min/max/special values helps too... how would you propose making that easier and keep it out of the way of most users...
