Most distros need the first 2 cds, and the 3rd for international support....i'd say screw SuSe if it's expensive, try another one. Mandrake is cheap. (just get the 3 cd pack)

Now I have installed SuSe9. I found out KDE, but I want to switch to Gnome coz it works a lot like Mac, I have heard. How can I change? ??? Anyone recommend Gnome than KDE?
the only aspect of gnome i like better (of the last version, not the newest) is the file manager, other than that i like kde much better. To switch to gnome you have to first install it, but not knowing much about suse i'd say GO TO THEIR DAMN SITE and look there for isntructions on how to change which window manager is loaded.

YaST should have an option which environment to launch at startup.
Actually you should be able to choose when it asks you for a password after booting/logging out.

why dont you just use kde now that you have it and its working?

Now I really know why most people love M$. Yes, of course, M$ is more expensive than Linux, but it totally automated.
In linux, even installation is a matter for me.
Now I try to uninstall suse9. But I made dual boot, so just delete the linux partition won't help, rite? How can I uninstall to clear everything including Linux BootLoader?
You can't. Now you see why people hate MSA bootloader cannot be uninstalled, and Windows can't reinstall its own bootloader.
You could try locating the Windows bootstrap and placing it in the Master Boot Record though. But only if it's even available.

Then, you can just format the linux partion to FAT32 and use the partion as a general storage area. It will appear as a different drive in windows though, just warning you.
