    How about having www.afreedboy.tk
.tk is a free domain some island in the middle of nowhere is giving away. You need to already have some hosting (ie. someone who stores your files) or pay for some of theirs.
    .tk domains
free no-ads hosting with PHP and Perl support
They don't have ftp support, but it's ads-free though.
You can also go to the google directory to find some
    Computers>internet>hosting>personal>free it think

NO, you have to have your own space somewhere else.

Look... you can't get a domain for free. It's not going to happen. No one is handing them out, and if they were, it wouldn't be the one you want. It's 10 bucks a year... fork over the freakin cash. Besides, you're gonna pay more than that to have the space on the web to use.

This looks too good to be true. Is there a catch? Are you using it?

often times its bandwith limitations...A few years ago I had a similar service, and after about 20 visits two my site they would shut it down for the remainder of the day, stating that the site has exceeded the bandwith limits....

Well, I just found it and till I finish the site I'm not gonna use it. There are no `official' bandwidth limits, but they say that if your site is hogging all the bandwidth, they'll ration it.
All I've actually used it for, was today for transfering a file, since apache won't work properly and I had to pass a file to another computer in the LAN.
I think they started very recently, so they're probably trying to get an user-base in first.
