As I mentioned in my original post, I never took Calc 3. I don't have too. The last math class I took(and have to take) was Adv. Engineering Math, which was basically an accelerated course that combined Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and a bit of Calc. 3. The majority of the class either had taken, or was taking Physics 2 at the same time, and everyone said that the MATH250 class was harder. Perhaps it was the instructor though. He was a bad teacher, at least for that level of a Math course.Calc 3 will be one of the more confusing math classes you take, but certainly not the hardest. And if you can't handle that, you won't stand a chance in things like Physics 2 which is like a basics course on Electromagnetic Fields (aka the hardest class I have ever taken).
ober5861 - I've considered what you've said to me, and though I found it rather harsh at first, I went and reread some of the information from the CS and EE department at KU, and I think I will probably change majors to EE. The classes I've taken thus far will still transfer, so really nothing changes. But I think that would interest me more than CE, which teaches engineering principles, but still relies heavily on software development. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
