Just wondering if anyone has tried to overclock one of these yet. If you have, wonderng what kind of results you've got and stuff.

If no-ones done it, I'll experiment. Using an ASUS A7N8X mobo deluxe version. With 1GB of PC3200 twin tested. Will try to get results up asap.

i'd get a crap load off fans in there...which means bigger psu if you don't already have it. I'd stay away from liquid cooling unless you have someone very experienced do it. A bad setup could mean losing everything if you spring a leak. I'd just go with a lot of fans, a really good heatsink/proc fan setup, spreaders...the whole kit and kaboodle....if you really really want/think you need liquid, don't go cheap, make sure you get the highest quality hoses and connectors, and seal everything afterwards with some sort of apoxy. Don't run it near your hard drives, i'd try to stay away from as much as possible just us it on your proc.

Its a trade off. More fans = More PSU = More heat.

Your best bet in my experience is the following:

Take all the metal slot covers out of your case. The ones that block pci access slots not in use. Space out your drives if you can. Then take the case fan located under the PSU on the inside of the case, and mount it in the same location but outside of the case, in the position that pulls the air out of the case. Believe it or not this not only moves air better, but it allows more room for a bigger CPU fan. Next, hard drives coolers.

Remember that you are not only overclocking the CPU, but the pci cards, everything. Skimp on nothing, ram heatsinks, etc.

almost forgot

if you're not making a mod case and don't care about looks/noise, here's the trick:
get a cabinet of some kind, you can put carpet on the inside of it to sound-proof.
Take all the sides off of your case so that it's totally open and air can pass through.
Buy a nice industrial fan (most likely cheaper than liquid cooling, comparable to many little fans, but not attractive) you'll want one that has a long life engine, at least the size of your case if not bigger.
Put both fan and case in teh cabinet.

It won't look good but your cpu will run at like 80 degrees even if it's overclocked.
