    Question CPU temp lies?

    Hello,
I'm not sure if its a problem, but here goes:
In my BIOS, it says that the CPU temperature is usually around 60ºC.
Now, when I check the temperature with asus probe, it tells me the temperature is around 45ºC. How can that be? Anybody got any ideas?
Also, have you ever heard of RAW as your HDD filesystem. chkdsk and convert say that's what it is.

IDE: emacs + make + gcc and proud of it.

Just a thought here, are you certain that the 45*C is your CPU temp rather than your ambient/system temp?

As for RAW partition, I found this little discussion here
