How do you remotely boot with networked Windows 98se machines?
i'm not sure, but i think you open the boot menu and choose the network... or are you trying to boot from somewhere else in the network?

Remote Booting/Rebooting Is Hardware Dependant, and in my experience has nothing to do with the OS. Back in the day we had a special card we could plug into the box, and to a phone line where you could call it and it would boot. Now they have XXXX-On-Lan stuff where you send a signal to a certain high numbered port on the system and it boots.

Ok that's for that method. What about this ? Say I have two computers both with a network card and one with a Windows OS with networking enabled. Same solution?
If theres computer/NIC supports Wak-on-LAN then yes.
Check out teh webiste, theres probally some specialty app to use to send the signal(There probally is a standard, im betting its not apaer of Windows or Linux).
Yes, it should be (somewhere) in the manual that came with your hardware. Normally its a udp message to some insanely high port in the 30,000 range, although im not sure about newer integrated nics on mobos with Whatever-On-Lan.
