    changing IE windows

I forgot how to do this... I want to change the way an IE window pops up... for example, I click on a link that will make a new window pop up with the target in it... I want to change the attributes of the new window... btw, i'm running IE 6.0.2800 on XP Pro...

nono, i know the whole win=window.open("","","width=xx,height=xx"); thing, but what i want to know is how to change it in IE itself... as in the program options... for example, I click a link that's supposed to open in a new window, but it only takes up the top 3rd of the screen when it opens... I tiled windows vertically once and now they open up in the same size...

another thing... all of a sudden my status bar doesn't come up... I always have to go to view|status bar and recheck it...

Try opening up one window, selecting the options you want (position, size, status bar on/off etc), then close the window. When you reopen it, hopefully it'll have the same formatting. (I'm kinda guessing here).
When all else fails, read the instructions.
