    Sata Hdd?

I was looking in PC World magazine, and there was an ad for the new Area 51 computer that Alienware just put out. It said it had dual SATA 160 GB HDD's in it. WTF is SATA?

Serial ATA. I think it has a smaller cord than standard ATA.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

150 MB/s per channel as well - not just a smaller cable!

Plus it's RAID (I'm guessing from the dual HDD) so it's nice and fast, and should help prevent data loss. Pretty damn nice, and future proof
