    Talking MS Word BUG !!

    Try this, open a new word file and type

    = rand(50,50)

    and then press enter...

    urprised ??

    It is an old typing exercise phrase, (when typing meant typewriters!). It was used because it uses every letter in the English alphabet.

    I know there as an easter egg, in excel where you can drive a car around, its not the greatest, but pretty neat.

    Someone once put up a great site for easter eggs, it had it for so many programs.

    I heard that are a few games embedded in MS Word! is this true?

    There were a couple of games in MS Word97.However they don't work in Word2000.

    Its not a bug. In fact its documented somewhere in their MSDN jungle and it actually has a reason for being there. Sometimes, managers/whoever wants to test out a MS Word feature or show it to someone else. So they type that in and it spits out text so you can do whatever you want with it (make borders, colors, etc).

    Format:
    =rand(<paragraphs>, <sentences per paragraph>)
    >> then press enter
