    motherboards

    would a motherboard with a microatx form factor fit into a midtower case? or does i have to be a microatx case?

    Most motherboards have to fit into a form factor specified for it, currently ATX is the standard. It will fit, but it may not have holes in the correct positions, so you may have to drill more.

    drill them into the motherboard? or you mean teh case?

    i know atx is the standard, but i was wondering if microatx mobo would fit in a midatx tower, like the slots in the back of the case. or ill just find an atx mobo. haha.

    NO God no! Drill holes in the motherboard? LOL

    If your purchasing it then definately go for a motherboard which will fit your case.
