    Forgive me.
    This question is not related to C, but I need to find a utility that will let me add text to a .pdf file. Preferrable a free utility. This is probably the only time I will need it. Every utility I have looked at does everything but add text. Any suggestions????

    I don't know for sure as to whether there is something for free that will do it but I very much doubt it. You see the philosophy of the Acrobat software is that the reader is free to make it a widely distributed format, but the writer costs a fortune (gotta pay the coders and that).
