Question Using Floppy's and CD ROM's in Slackware Linux?

How do I setup slackware to use CD ROMS and Floppy's? It senses the floppy drive but it says I can only use local files and it doesn't even sense my CDROM. Windows 98 is on C:, D: ext1 are my files, D: ext2 is Slackware Linux, E: is my programming and F: is my cdrom. What should I do?

fdisk and the print partitions option. that will show you the partitions and there numbers then use the mount command. create a folder in /mnt named vfat the run mount /dev/hdax /mnt/vfat. replace x eith a number you found from fdisk. you might have to add the -t vfat option to mount, try it.

you could of easily found this online.
