    Office XP w/ Frontpage 2002

Today i went to install Word 2002 and im having one hell of a time. My CD has been screwey for some time, so i browse it and install using the direct setup exe for word instead of the entire office suite.

Now this always worked before, but for SOME reason it wont accept my product key, or any key for that matter. I tried contacting M$ but u know how that goes.

Now i must add my copy of Office XP is 100% legit and legal. This is pretty important because i use word for the cprog tutorials...any ideas?

I know you fixed it but use Open Office anyways.

I had OpenOffice 1.0.2 running for a week or so, but I found it inconsistant with MS Office. What I mean is, a document written with Word looks the same regardless of the OS. I had a number of documents that with OpenOffice looked different when viewed on different OS's, specifically, a document that is correctly formetted on 95, (i.e. looks just like it did in Word), when loaded into OO on XP had the last line of the first page moved to the first line of the second and so on.

This is useless. If I spend time formatting a document to look professional, and then the tools I am using decides to change it around to look like an amateur effort, then the tool goes out the window.

    Here is the bug report.
