Redhat 8: HTTPD Service Fails to Start.

I used the Apache Configuration tool to set up the server, then I went to Services and tried to Initialize HTTPD but it failed. I've tried restarting the PC and HTTPD fails there too. I went to RedHat.com and they claim that HTTPD service starts up normally but it doesn't. I've also checked the Firewall settings and I've disabled them completely. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the service going?

This is the message in the Error_Log for HTTPD:
[Mon Mar 10 18:50:31 2003] [alert] (22002)Name or service not known: mod_unique_id: unable to find IPv4 address of "ion-software"
    Configuration Failed

    Solved

RedHat's HTTPD is not setup correctly. I solved the error by download, recompiling, installing, configuring, and manually starting the HTTPD service for Apache 2.0.44
