XMMS, updated kernels installed. Still wont play.

I just installed RedHat 8.0(and Installed 130MB of updates). But XMMS woudl not work, so I went to their website and tried to install the XMMS RPM but when I try to install XMS-mpg123-1.2.7-13.i386.rpm it says: XMMS >= 1.2.7 must be installed first.

So I did a force install of the RPM and XMMS still wont work. This is gay, I refuse to convert everything to OGG Vorbis. I even tried to install XMMS-1.2.7 and it said: XMMS-1.2.7-13.p is already installed. Nothing seems to work.

You know what sucks? your distro... rh removed the mp3 support, you'll need to able him by yourself.
/usr/lib/xmms/Input/libmpg123.la /usr/lib/xmms/Input/libmpg123.so

Put exactly on the directory I told you.
