I have 2 HD's. Mandrake 9.0 on 1 and Windows on the other. Is there a way that I can create a boot disk that will boot linux if it is in? Also, I want it to boot directly to Windows if the disk isn't in the comp.

Yeah, use the rawrite application, that you received in your mandrake disk.Is there a way that I can create a boot disk that will boot linux if it is in?
Hmm, so do not install a boot manager like Grub or Lilo. Also, I want it to boot directly to Windows if the disk isn't in the comp.
like VBer said... you should have had an option to do this during the install of Mandrake. I have Mandrake 7.2 installed and that is how it works for me... the only time it boots to Linux is when I use the boot disk. If you've already installed it, you're going to have to remove LILO or GRUB or whatever bootloader you installed during the setup.
EntropySink. You know you have to click it.
