If you want a stressful CPU test, download the arcade emulator MAME and cruisin usa or world. Exploit all graphics and sound options(full accuracy).
That requires a 4ghz CPU.
Oh, I see that you want the program to monitor heat..do that with a hand held tool if you have one.
If you don't, I don't know then.MAME is the ultimate CPU tester though.

It requires a 4ghz cpu non-stop. The game will play unaccurately on anything less.
