Ive been having this problem for a while, and thought I would finally ask.
Whenever I restart my computer, or put it to sleep it sometimes changes the time in the bottom right of the task bar. It doesnt always chagne, but when this does occur, it is always behind 3 hours, regardless of how long my computer has been 'sleeping'
Does anyone know why this happens?
I am currently running XP Home Edition.

is your time zone set correctly? i had mine wrong for a while, and so whenever the automatic time updater thinger came on, it set the clock an hour later than it should be. double click the clock to the go to the setting.. just a guess though.. i'm probably way off.

I had the same problem with Win2k for a while. It seems to have gone away now(on its own), but it was going on for about a month.
