    Files that are not deleted

    My friend has downloaded a file from KaZaA whith a stange long name, and he cann't move, delete, or rename the file, it says that the name is invalid.
    What can he do?

    Umm how about a bit more detail. You can delete whatever you wish, but where is the file etc, what type is it?

    I've had that problem before, and I had to go into a command prompt and delete it from there.

    drop into dos and delete it form there

    rm filename.ext

    dos will let you delete anything!!

    In a UNIX based OS that wouldnt be a problem
