johny castaway screensaver
I am sure many of you know about the Johny Castaway Screensaver. It is my favorite screensaver, it is hilarious. I love it.
But it does not work with WinXP. It only works with 3.1/9x
Does anybody know of any way to make a 9x screensaver compatible with XP?
Are there any programs out there that are able to do it?
or it just impossible because of the whole DOS-based thingy that Win9x loves so much and WinXP hates so much...
Win2K and XP have a compatibility option but only on shortcuts.
Find where the screensaver is and try create a shortcut to the .exe, set the compatiblity to Win95. not sure if will work.

compatibility works just fine on .exe's ....
But I'm not sure about screen savers. Even at that, compatibility mode isn't perfect.
that crap is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo OLD, i suggest maybe investing the time in surfing the net for a new, cooler screen saver

Why not record it to avi while its running on a win9x box then convert the avi in xp to the new SS type.
there, prob solved.
p.s. It works on my xp comp no prob.
