Enable sharing on all three computers. Enable Net Beui on the
    Milleniums. Map your drives.

Of course, the optimal thing to do would be to upgrade your
Milleniums to XP. That would probably solve your problem.

    xp attempts...

Well, i turned on the NEt Beui on the Windows ME computers, and it now will let them see the XP computer, but when i try to open a folder that is on the XP computer from the ME computer, it gives me an error that says "Not enough memory is available. Quit some programs." I was wondering if you had an idea of what that meant, should i close some programs on the XP computer? i mean...it has 768MB DDR ram on it so i would hope it has enough memory...The Me computer has 384MB PC166. Thanks for your help

    ME = GAY

    Solution: Upgrade

And no thats not lack of memory on the target(xp) computer its a lack of intelligence from the local(ME) computer.

Hey STFU R-or-D unless you know what you are talking about!

There's nothing wrong with networking ME with XP (9x with NT), I've got an ME system sharing my DSL with a 2000 system and an XP system via a Linksys router/switch.

    Questions:
    a) How are the three being networked? (hub/switch/router)
    b) Have you updated the ME machines with Windows Update?
    c) Is XP's firewall enabled? (network connection->advanced)
    d) Are the three systems in the same workgroup?
    e) Are they using the same subnet mask?
    f) Are they going to share an internet connection?
    g) Have you installed Windows XP SP1?
    h) Do you have File and Printer sharing installed on all three?
    i) Is the XP machine set to share any drives/files?
    j) Do you have any weird network programs/settings I should know about?

    Try disabling the XP firewall...

I've seen that error message before, and every time my
    system resouces were, indeed, low.

Try this: right after you boot up try to access you XP files from the Millenium computer. If you get the memory error message,
shut down every tsr in your task manager, and then try the
file open again. If that doesn't work, you can run winipconfig
on your milleniums and ipconfig on your XP machine to see
information about your network. You can also try to ping
your various computers to see if your ip address are set up properly.

It sounds like you have enough memory, but it's also possible the
memory is bad. Do you get the same error message on all machines or just one? It could also be the error message about memory is bogus and something else is causing the problem.

As a last resort, disconnect every thing and start over, testing
your network from one millenium to the XP and see what happens. A visit to Microsoft's web site might also help. And
there are other forums on other websites that are as qualified or even more so than anyone here to help you fix your proble. An
excellent place to find help is devshed.com.

    Hope this helps.

And I'm saying that you're showing your stupidity to say that ME is "gay"; give me one reason (not "gay") to change ME.

    That's... uhh, great.

give me one reason (not "gay") to change ME.
I don't think sexual prefrence has anything to do with whether BMJ should be changed or not. Whether or not he messed in his nickers should be one compelling factor in your decision to change him or not.
