    Cable connection problems

This problem ony started within the last couple of days. Im only able to maintain my connection for about half an hour. Then Im unable to resolve any server. About the same time my connectoin troubles started, unusual entries in my firewall log appeared:

1,[25/Oct/2002 06:48:42] Rule 'kill anything else not allowed in rules': Blocked: In ICMP [10] Router Solicitation, 169.254.169.217->localhost, Owner: Tcpip Kernel Driver

1,[25/Oct/2002 06:48:34] Rule 'kill anything else not allowed in rules': Blocked: Out UDP, localhost:68->255.255.255.255:67, Owner: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KRNL386.EXE

1,[25/Oct/2002 06:23:04] Rule 'kill anything else not allowed in rules': Blocked: Out UDP, localhost:68->172.30.100.36:67, Owner: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KRNL386.EXE

Can anyone shed some light on these logs and my connection problems? Using Tiny Personal Firewall (im too cheap to buy a good one), Win98

System Suite by On-Track has one of the best fire walls I have ever used, and I have experience with many. I always recomend this program to my customers, and tell them to throw away Norton. You might be having someone screwing with your computer on the outside. Do a leak-test that can be found on the internet. I can't remember the address, but when I do I will let you know. The leak test will let you know how well your fire wall is performing by trying to access your computer many different ways. Now only if I could remember the web site address.......
