Im finally going to get rid of WinMe, I wanted to for a long time, and the day has finally come. I tried to format my computer once, and it asked me for a NTFS disk (something like that), and I didnt have one, so I just brought into the shop and they formatted for me.
If I run into this problem, can I get one from the manufacturers website of the hard drive?
Also, what are the steps required to format?

I got rid of windows ME by just installing my drive as a slave in another computer and deleting the windows folder. Still had to reinstall a lot though.
