    Unistalling programs.

As some of you might rember a while ago my C:windows\system32\config\software file became corrupted, and I repaced it with the file E:\windows\sytem32\config\software, and my computer continured to work almost like normal.

there is one slight problem and that is a couple of programs do not reconize that there installed, such as Office, and Morrowind. I would like to uninstall these files, but can not do so because there not listed in the Windows Add/remove diolog box. Nor can I find a way to unistall them.

How about installing them, then uninstalling them. Sounds a long way round, I know, but I've seen it work.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

    sigh, I did that Ride.

Um Hammer the entire point of unistalling them is so that I can re install them fresh. But if no one can think of a better way to do so, then I will go with your method.

hmm you may have to use hammers.

hmm on my XP i have a "Remove from my system" option in the right click menu of regedit.

As in i open regedit and goto

    hkey...local mach.....software.....

click on a folder, right click and i have the uninstall options...

If that doesn't help i'm outta ideas.
