    Mandrake - settings

I recently installed Mandrake 8.1, and came across a problem I had when I had previously. I did a search before, and was able to find the solution on a Mandrake site, but now I cant find it.

Here is the problem, when I boot into Linux, the screen flashes, and then is disabled for five minutes. I want to get to DrakX so I can change the settings.

I remember typing something like DrakX --help, but that isnt working, any suggestions?

    Thanks.

I finally fixed the problem, and I am posting what I did, just in case someone else comes across this problem.

    Login as root
    type init 3
    type XFdrake
    then change the necessary settings.

I had to change the video card, to a normal Nvdia for it to work
