    monitor problem

    So I'm running woody, and there is always an inch-wide black border around the screen. I'm pretty sure it's the monitor's prob, it's an IBM G70. I got it a garage sale, so I don't have the manual, and I've searched the web exhaustively with no results. So does anyone know how to unlock the monitor controls? Thank you,

    You can get drivers for you monitor here.
    Current projects:
    1) User Interface Development Kit (C++)
    2) HTML SDK (C++)
    3) Classes (C++)
    4) INI Editor (Delphi)

    umm... have you tried the monitor controls on the front/side of it? That has nothing to do with drivers... you just have to "widen" the screen with the monitors controls...

    Are you joking? Since when are tech companies obligated to support old products? The very idea!

    I know. But I have to unlock the controls before I can widen the screen, and I was asking if anyone with an IBM monitor knew how to do that?

    The garage sale man didnt give you a key to the padlock on the front of your monitor? Man, he ripped you off.
    Theres always a screwdriver to pry off the front...
