A couple of weeks ago, Microsoft forced a reboot on one of my machines claiming it was necessary. I lost a load of work when that happened and had started looking at Linux distros. Today, another of these messages appeared, it says I must reboot or it will do it in 24 hours. I stand to, once again, loose days of work. How can I stop this from happening? It is a Windows 8.1 system.
