    VirtualBox Guest Additions

    Hi!

    I have 2 questions:

    * In VirtualBox, I cannot seems to install the Guest Additions (so I can do drag n' Drop and stuff). I tried every command I can find online, also downloaded the GA seperately and tried to install it that way -- but nothing works. If anyone know a solution for this, please do post.

    * Earlier I ran Kali Linux 2017.1 on VMware, and it was sooo lagging I tried Oracle's VM. (btw. VMware had no problems with other OSs like Windows). VirtualBox was great, it ran Kali smoothly as any other OS. Is there a reason for VMWare to be that slow running Kali?

    Thanks in Advance!

If I had to guess, I'd say that either Kali can detect that it's running on VirtualBox so it optimizes itself accordingly, or simply that a specific hardware feature Kali relies on is terribly optimized on VMware.

Yes, makes sense. Cuz I have no way running kali on vmware, cuz it so damn slow. I think the problem with wmvare rather than kali figuring out which vm it's being running on, though. Thanks for the input!

Anyone know a solution for my Guest Additions problem, please?
