    Dual GPUs

    Hi!

I don't really understand how dual GPUs work. I have an Intel and an AMD one on my lap. So, is it that when I do graphic intensive stuff like Modeling the AMD one starts and when I'm doing like typing the Intel one get the job done. In the AMD control panel there's a section you can add applications that you like to dedicated to AMD GPU. And there are App the AMD software auto detected. So, is that mean only those Apps runs through the AMD GPU?

    Thanks.

I don't know how things work under the hood (shared memory buffer between onboard and dedicated GPU), but your general idea about on-demand switching is right I think.
