Andriod Audio player for listening to audio books.

    Hi!

I've been looking for an Android audio book listener, but can't find one with the most wanted 2 features I need:

    1. Resume from where I've left, even when I reboot the phone and open the audio file.

    2. Since my native language is not English, it's easier for me to understand spoken english when it's read slowly. So I want a player that can alternate the playback speed rate (without changing the pitch, or better with an option decide that).

Please recommend the best players you've encountered with above features (both in one). Also, appreciate if you could recommend video players with above reqs.

Thank you so much for any help!

I'm not listening to audio books
I'm using TTS engine to listen to regular e-books. For Sumsung engine - the quality is good for years. Google in the Android 7 has improved its engine dramatically.
For English there is good Engine with free voices - IVONA - even better than 2 mention earlier

As reading application I'm using FBReader and its TTS+ Plugin
And this combination gives exactly the features you are asking for audio book reader - remember the position in the book (even when I combine reading and listening) and configurable rate

Thanks vart. But I hate listening to books with TTS -- too much crappy voices. They often can't pronounce words well. I just need an audio player that has the 2 options I've mentioned above. Anyone know a good one, please?

Note: I don't actually listen to audio books on any devices. That said, I found a freebee on the Play store that let's you adjust playback speed and keeps track of where you are. Hope it works out.
