Has anyone worked with EHR before?

Who among you guys have worked with developing EHR software before?

Doesn't matter how small your job was but the bigger involvement you have the better you can share how your experience was programming the software?

Which EHR vendor do you think does a pretty good job when it comes to customization and leveraging revenues?

Perhaps you should explain what EHR software is, in case someone has used it, but doesn't know the abbreviation.
What can this strange device be?
When I touch it, it gives forth a sound
It's got wires that vibrate and give music
What can this thing be that I found?

EHR is electronic health record, it is a digital version of a patient's chart.

But no, i haven't worked with any medical software yet

Sorry about that, Elkvis. I just assumed everyone knows about EHRs. It stands for electronic health records - which is a medical software developed to replace paper charts and it does a lot more than store health information.

Just wanted to know if there's some kind of supplemental course that needs to be taken before you can develop this kind of tool. It sounds like a lucrative career to get into, taking into account the swarm of EHR vendors invading the market and making good money out of it.

In the United States, there's HIPAA regulations, and I'm sure there are parts of those regulations that apply to software.

I would suggest you using Benchmark Systems Software. I think this is the most user friendly app you can find. And I've heard a lot of good things about their customer support.
