o yesterday i was installing linux mint on a new partition. Everything was going fine. I'am in last part of installation and computer goes for reboot. I let it here doing other things when i came back like 20 minutes later it was still in same phase but from the text which i do not remember now it seemed as if the process didn't go 100%(first time i was installing linux). I did hit some keys like capslock and stuff and it led the in keyboard so it didn't crash i think. Now that's when disaster stroke. I shut down the laptop with the power button. From the sound it did i could tell it was different than other times(that day i actually force shutdown quite a lot) that sound you hear when a laptop power off by the button was shorter than usual and more acute. So i then click on it to power up but this time i have no luck. It shows no sign of live.
I have tried holding the power button for 10, 20, 30 seconds even a minute and it won't power up. When this happened i had battery which was still pretty full but now even with ac cable on the lights wont turn on. What could be the problem?
