    So, You're a Communist! I might have known because you and I are already light years apart. For a real good look at Marx's idiocy, check out the following:

    I like you, Will.

    Even though your link is incredibly stupid. I stopped reading after two paragraphs. Know why? You've never done hard physical labor for minimum wage. I'm sorry, but a garbageman is worth more to society as a whole than Taylor Swift is. Your point got pwned, son!

    If you want to discuss national politics, please use private messaging or at least don't do so in this thread.

    He also lifted the Iron Curtain mate - don't forget that! Besides that, Reagan worked tirelessly to rally non-partisan support and cooperation in legislative matters, making him one of (if not *the* most) administratively effective of all of the presidents. No, he didn't believe in taxing the rich to death, it's true, but then so what? We ARE ultimately responsible for our OWN quality of life man. I mean, suppose you got stranded on a desert island or something. Sure, you may well have to subsist on coconuts and fish for the rest of your life, deprived of all the conveniences and distractions of civilized society. Should you shake your fist into the wind, cursing Reagan for the lousy carp you landed on the reel that day, really? Anyway, class warfare would only lead to more suffering in this world, and would only serve to *worsen* things. World markets would likely fall and several nations could falter as a result. Yes, you'd be everyone's Hero alright - I can see it now!

    Not trying to throw the book at you here brother, but you should seriously turn away from this personal Hell that you reign supreme over. Whatever your deity (or lack thereof), you should nonetheless always strive to uphold what you know to be Good and Right. Yes, the energy of Evil is powerful but ultimately it just destroys the soul that invokes it, so...

    Code:
    #include <cmath>
    #include <complex>
    bool euler_flip(bool value)
    {
        return std::pow
        (
            std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)),
            std::complex<float>(0, 1)
            * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0)

        ).real() < 0;

    Just out of curiosity - what would be considered "on topic" at this point?

    This thread has gone from database software, to computer/mainframe architecture, to football prediction software, to arrogant old-man rantings, to politics, and is now on "Good" versus "Evil" (with lots of other bits thrown in throughout).

    Let's at least bring it back to the tangible. How do you take your coffee? Cream and a bit of raw sugar for me.

    Last time I checked literal capitalism doesn't work either. What a shame we are so stupid we can't come with a working domestic policy.

    I agree laserlight. If the guys that are commenting on this board have such rage in them about my dislike of Marxism, they should go to a political forum to discuss it or comment to me with a private message. From now on, let's get back to the subject of this board/thread, data base software.

    You were the first to bring up politics in this thread. I think that disqualifies you from trying to suggest that others should refrain from doing the same. Hypocrisy is a nasty character trait, which is consistently found in nearly all politicians - the same politicians which you revere, as well as the ones you despise.
    What can this strange device be?
    When I touch it, it gives forth a sound
    It's got wires that vibrate and give music
    What can this thing be that I found?

    I agree that a garbageman is worth more than a Taylor Swift. Don't blame her for the unfairness, blame the countless idiots who buy her albums and concert tickets.

    Yeah, I think he missed allusions. Or he's being equally weird.

    I don't claim to reign over any Hell. Lucifer was originally God's light bringer, the herald of the dawn. Satan is the name he received when he started his rebellion against God out of his fault of pride and arrogance.

    The Yawarakai-Te is the legendary sword crafted by Masamune and translates into English as "Tender hands", the idea being the blade will only cut what deserves to be cut. This in direct contrast to Muramasa's blade, the Juuchi Yosamu ("10,000 cold nights"), which cuts everything indiscriminately.

    And I began to consider myself the King of the Beasts because I'm a Leo and lions are commonly known as the Kings of the Beasts as well. I feel like my astrological sign fits me really well. Leos are known for their pride and so is Lucifer which is how I made that association with myself. And because lions are protectors, the Yawarakai-Te feels right.

    Will1: you are free to start a new thread with updated information on what you are trying to do concerning your file storage/database project. If you are mainly going to ask for someone to get on board with you in moving your project forward, then post in the Projects and Job Recruitment forum. If you are going to seek specific technical help that could be feasibly provided on this message board, then post in this Tech Board forum.
