Hi everyone, I need your help, I just have installed windows 8 pro in my computer (Toshiba) and i face problems with the the wireless internet connection. Actually it doesn't show me any wireless connection and it only live me have internet with the cable. Does anyone of you knows what to do to fix it? Before in windows 7 the wireless internet connection was ok. And also the modem is ok all the lights are on. Please i will appreciate every small detail you said to me.

Please post these kinds of questions in the tech board, and do not cross post.
As for your problem, have you checked that your wireless drivers are properly installed (or installed at all)?

The first thing to do is visit Toshiba | Leading Innovation, look through the support section for your model of laptop, and find out if it says anything about windows 8 support in general, and wireless in particular. If your machine is more than a year old (when Win8 betas were first available), then you might struggle.

Then I found this interesting snippet of things removed from Win8

If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
