I would have used 3x1TB in RAID-5 if I can afford another drive at this time. The chance of 2 out of 3 drives failing at the same time is almost 0, and that's 2TB space instead of just 1TB with 2x1TB in RAID-1.
Good idea, If I can find a few 500 Gigs' disks cheaper than 2x1Tb, I'll go for that.

Unfortunately now is really not a good time to be buying harddrives... I remember buying my 1TB drives for about $70 each 2 years ago. Now it's almost double that due to the shortage.
