Changing GnuPlot axis tic increment

I have plotted the following graph with GnuPlot:

I have been trying to stretch the increments of the yaxis out, so that it does not look quite as flat at the bottom range. I have played with the size variable (aspect ratios) as well as changing the yrange variables. I have not been successful. Anybody have a suggestion as to how I can make this graph a little more readable/useful?

Use logarithmic scale instead? It looks like the function is exponential.
