Need recomendations for a UML tool.

I'm starting to learn UML and at school we are using Rational Rose Enterprise edition.

This is not exactly within my budget.

I've searched and found quite a few, but ended up suffering information overload. All I want to be able to do is create the following:

    Use Case diagrams
    Class diagrams
    State diagrams
    Sequence diagrams

Are there any free (open source) ones which look good?

I'd really like to be able to generate C++ (and any other!) code with it, I know some of the tools can, but I couldn't find any for free.

I plan to use this tool a lot over the next few months, so I really appreciate your recommendations.

    Thanks very much.

If Rational Rose is not in your budget I doubt these will be either.

If your budget means "free", there's ArgoUML. I never used it but seems competent enough.
