    why login through gaggle ?

    Password steeling meow by gaggle ?

    This is the page source when I was trying to log in to youtube. why do it got through gaggle ? meow.

    Are you aware that YouTube is run by Google? I don't find it terribly surprising, though I do agree it's a little worrisome (but not much).

    edit: actually I don't find it worrisome at all

    when did that happen. i recall the login was through utube ie www.youtube.com/login . gaggle had their own video ie gaggle videos and utube was another site. thank you for the reply.

    "utube" is an entirely separate company (see the article below) - were you actually referring to the utube that sued YouTube, or were you just abbreviating? In any case, YouTube was bought by Google a couple of years ago, and has been integrated with a lot of Google services (as evidenced in the link you posted), so it's no surprise that Google uses it's own domain for some of the services.

    Especially because Google has its own OpenID implementation.
