Media Center not recognizing Digital Tuner

anyone else having problems with this? Media Center not recognizing astv digital signals? Searched with only one result. Said that microandsoft had a “hotfix” or do they? Are they just taking orders for the hotfix or do they really have a patch for it?

Are there other solutions? Not really wanting to deal with microandsoft. Any yes an anonymous email requesting said “hotfix” was requested but nothing received in 4 months even with several requests in leaving me to think that there is no real hot fix meow.

microandsoft wanted me to download 840mb file sp1vista or the sp3 for xp several hundred megabytes. no direct
link to the eshell.dll 4mb file or hotfix x86 file. meow. tried more searches. 35 hour download meowch!
