When I try to install Windows XP, currently using Vista, on my Dell XPS 600 with an nforce4 sli mobo, using a 160gb western digital hard drive, the oddest thing happens. XP cannot detect the hard drive I'm using, assuming due to the fact that it is a SATA drive, and windows XP doesn't have any SATA drivers standard.

So I need to find SATA drivers that I can fit on a floppy disk to install them during the xp installation by hitting f6.

I don't have an OEM disk, nor do I have any blank cd's to slipstream drivers into an XP installation.

I do have floppies.

What steps do I need to take to make a usable SATA driver diskette suitable for XP installations?
