    Dictionary Attack

I will be competing in a security capture the flag competition and was assigned duties involving password hacking and systems admin.
I was wondering if anyone know of John the Ripper.
I want to do a dictionary attack on a password file, and wanted to know if there are prebuilt word lists.
I feel this has been created before and do not want to trust my level of knowledge with the language.
    (1) Does anyone know where I can get a comprehensive dictionary (word list) that will work with John the Ripper?
    (2) Does anyone know of options of dictionaries that are available in other languages?

I'm sorry, but the rules of this site forbid questions about anything that can be used in active cracking and make no exception for legitimate competitions. They are this way because we have no way of distinguishing between legitimate and illegitimate questions.
    All the buzzt!
