    OpenSSH sftp client

Is it me or it doesn't support "recursive directory download" ?

    Try "-r", IIRC

Nah, the -r flag doesn't work with the OpenSSH sftp client (well -- it doesn't work with the get command at least), but it does work with the PuTTY sftp client (which I use when I'm on Windows).

I find it weird such a functionality isn't implemented.

Hmm... then maybe use sftp to check file locations and "scp -r" to get them?
