    Computer Problem

I am trying to set up a computer with a network card and the machine won't boot. I first booted the machine to see what OS was installed, shut down, inserted wireless network caard, tried booting again. The BIOS progress bar only goes about an eigth of the total progress bar, even after removing the card. The BIOS is: Dell Dimension 8200 Series, BIOS Revision A09. I think the computer is overheating, but I'm not sure.

Oops, figured out the problem. I was trying to boot the system with a PS/2 mouse connected and that's what was stopping it from loading the BIOS. Now my question is why would that happen?
