    Stations

We had a couple of hotshot network types in last week to sort out our companies network. Suffice to say, at the end of this week, we are still in total chaos. I saw this, it summed it up exactly, and I thought I would share it with you...

"A bus station is a place buses stop, a train station is a place trains stop, on my desk I have a work station."
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.

That is genuinely hilarious. I am putting that up on the back of my monitor.

And by the way-- that is why I prefer programming to networking. Ugh-- I really hate that stuff. All those cables and protocols all over the place. What a mess.

That's so going on a notice board at work, probably on the same one as the scaringly accurate Dilbert cartoons.
