Umm... yes...
Damn you Google, you have failed me!
As well as "too" and "to" apperantly :p
The Sempron (not Semptron, not Semperon) is basically a 166 MHz FSB t-bred Athlon XP.
The performance ratings are comparible to the Celeron, so don't compare a Sempron 2600+ to a Athlon XP 2600+...
The auto-reboot funtion is in place to help protect your computer...
Rather then rebooting, you'll be greeted with a friendly blue screen.
Hardly...
Moore's law is entirely about increasing transitor count. Transistor count does not necessarily mean a speed increase. If it did, we'd be in trouble. Intel's P4 line has only increased...
Possibly bad RAM, or, if you're Overclocking, too high of a FSB.
In my experience random reboots are caused by unstable RAM, which of course, could be the fault of a bad PSU as well.
Hmm, I use Arch at work. We picked it because, well, we didn't want to use CVS and between Arch and Subversion it seemed like Arch had a lot going for it.
Yeah... we were going to name it Penguindows until the boys at Microsoft had their pick at it  [edit] Almost missed half the question. Honestly I have no idea if it's an x-86 emulator or...
No, it won't. What I was trying to say was Penguin-Does is based on Debian. Debian is a Linux distrobution. Penguin-Does allows you to run Debian on Windows. K?
I also think your description of...
Well, it's not a full-out OS or an emulator... I guess I really don't know how exactly to explain it. It runs unmodified linux binaries, some version of Debian (not sure which)... but on Windows. I...
Penguin-Does is based off of Debian. You can use apt-get to install it or just grab a debian package :)
If I remember right the command for apt-get is "apt-get install gcc"
Let me make sure I follow this... you mean the binary can be run on a native linux machine right... or do you mean it can only be run on another Cygwin install?
With Penguin-Does you can run and...
BASH no contest :)
Damn.... not bad.... not bad at all!
Maybe I should quit my job and become an intern :p
Paid interneship?
If so... how much? :)
Just want to see how my pay compares to a MS intern :p
I haven't had this problem myself, but one of my friends did. He wrote a simple program that copied files, and whenever he copied an empty text file and renamed it to .exe the file could not be...
You using older (2x AGP) cards? Those won't work in an 8x AGP slot.
I hope you mean 4000 and 3200 :p
And actually saying DDR400 (PC3200) and DDR333 (PC2700) would be fine.
But yah, Ober's right. Won't hurt anything, won't (directly) benefit anything. Will give...
Yup, very much so. Just be sure to give it a while to run :-)
386 was the last to go :p
Maybe you should have put the AMD heatsink on properly?
My 600 MHz overclocked 1700+ (2.0 GHz) runs relatively cool on a heatsink designed for much less (volcano 7)...
Even when I had my...
In case you were curious who patented HyperThreading the answer is... AMD
Patent number 5,944,816,
This, I believe, what one of the "features" of MSBlast, can't remember for sure. It is DEFINATLY caused by a few viruses out there though.
That post was nearly as helpful as the one I am making right now.
Also, since you seem to have a browser hijacker I would reccomend HiJack This!
