oh there it is... i had been looking for this thread for sometime now and could not find it... (wtf's wrong with me!!!)

i really dont know - i dont play too many PS games...
but i like fighting games mostly...

i would most definitely go for PS2...
there are a LOT more games (old PS included)...
X-Box and Gamecube are just getting started, so you could expect more soon, but i think PS2 is still better......
