Hey thats pretty cool! Nice work!
Wouldn't that only hold 99, 999 and the null character or whatever it is?
I know how you feel. Every time I see all that window creation code I collapse.
This is the exact same line Alphabird used in his topic. Coincedence?
A: I didn't read it.
Q: Do these 'Q's have to stay on topic with the 'A'?
Hey that's pretty good! I like the different types of attack and the armour absorbtion. But a replay option would be nice. Keep at it!
I would recommend Allegro, although it was mentioned Magos' link. It's nice and simple for beginners (that's why I like it :P ), as long as you know the very basics of c/c++ you should be able to do...
I don't think DavidP was neccessarily saying that Hyper was using 13h, but just saying that the code was similar to what HE used in 13h. Although I could be wrong. Maybe the thread starter should...
Or you could just get a key-generator. I mean, you did pay for it, so it's not really bad.
Lol, sorry. I just read another tutorial and noticed the clear() function. So I just inserted 'clear(buffer);' before drawing it to the screen. Sorry about that, maybe I should try to fix it by...
Does anybody have a solution to my problem? This thread is on page 2 already so I thought I'd bump it...
Hi,
seeing both the "Light" and "SpaceWars" games, I just HAD to learn Allegro. I've been using the tutorials at Loomsoft.net, and they're great. Everything works fine with the moving circle...
Sorry, that was me... lol, I used the wrong username again!
Ok, I decided to go with using spaces... Thanks! :)
I think you mean "#include <stdlib.h>"
or do they both work?
Ok, another problem! lol. Because I need to read integers of multiple digits, I've decided to use commas to seperate them. I have two variables that I use: temp, and val. I read in temp then check if...
ok thx! :D
Edit: I can't beleive I couldn't figure that out... lol. I was thinking too hard, and the logic got me all muddled up! lol, thx again! :)
Ok, I know somebody has done this in a game I played recently, called 'Light' (sorry, I forgot the person's name but it was great!). And although it wasn't console based I am sure this is possible in...
I prefer:: about:<script>alert("I Am Just Too Cool!");</script>
Most of the time it's by accident... I've done it once before, pressed the wrong button. :)
Try putting a 'return 0;' before the closing bracket, I'm not sure if this will help though... We're there even any errors?
I thought I'd post here rather than start a new topic, but would Allegro work with C++? I only found tutorials in C...
I don't think that would work,
since you could have [1][3] or [3][1], etc...
Ok Thanks! :D
