O.K. Here's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to copy Microsoft XP from my 80G HD to my 7G HD on my old pc. My old pc currently has no OS on it, so that's why I'm trying to XP onto it......how...

BTW: I would just have to cpoy my WINDOWS folder in order to put just my OS on my other HD right?

A friend of mine told me about this. He said that you can copy your OS from one HD to another, which is what I need to do to put an OS on my odl pc. Does anyone know where to download this?

Thanx for all the replies guys, but I've made it. It's just a DOS window that will open saying his HD will be delted on next boot, and then it says press enter to reboot.....you press enter and it...

Thanx. I know that this seems kinda newbish that I'm asking for such a simple program, but that's because I'm a newb! I'm just starting to learn C, then I will go to C++, and then Java..... :cool:

I want to make a fake error message....just basically one that will pop-up when my friend runs the program saying something like his OS has been deleted.....What's the code for this?
