Well, they probably wont laugh 'at' you , since they wont actually set up a meeting without a design proposal. Technically they will just laugh about you, that is if you do something that sets you apart from the rest of the 'I have a really awesome game idea' people. Fact is there are actually people with advanced degrees in game design. There are still cases where 2 guys in their garage come up with a new idea, but its not as common as it used to be.

Like being able to read, lets say oh I dunno - the forum rules, in particular the one about bumping dead threads.
